Here it is! It may not be Lovecraft, but it is Lovecraftian. Check it out, hope you enjoy it. More information about the project at www.eternal-war.com/project/
Excited to see how “Eternal War” will develop further. Our next stop are the Dreamlands though – we are going to have our first block of shooting from August 24th till September 7th. Everything looks good, keep the faith and pray for good weather with us!
Our two location scouting tours into the Swabian Jura have been quite successful. Looks like we can shoot a lot of scenes not far from our home bases.
But there are also bad news: The Castello di Sammezzano in Italy faced legal chaos in the last few weeks. The company we negotiated with positively suddenly lost authority and now the castle will be put to auction again at the end of this month. Very likely that this flip-flopping sinks our plan to shoot there in late summer. Let’s hope a more stable situation will emerge soon so that we can at least go there next year.

Completion of first “Eternal War” episode has been postponed by around a month due to final editing changes. In addition to the post-production on that, Huan also has to do some work on the martial arts script to finish the funded screenplay writing process. That’s why we are looking for help with some tasks for the next few weeks and months now – mainly for German-speaking volunteers though (makes communication easier). If you are interested, switch over to the German version of this post.
This beautiful-looking short film was kickstarted four years ago and is on tour since a couple of months (yesterday at the H.P. Lovecraft Film Festival for example). Really curious to see the end result and to learn more about their amazing DIY approach.
UPDATE: “The Ningyo” has become a web series. The amazing short film was transformed into a first episode which can be watched here!
Just so that no one thinks we are sitting idle – here is the current VFX breakdown for our short movie. Green means done and yellow means half-way done. We spent the last 8 months editing and shaping this beast (all the while negotiating and discussing “The Dreamlands” with our would-be partners) and will dedicate the next 5 months in completing it. Currently a small team of around a dozen highly motivated artists is working on this. Can’t wait to show you more!
